SIFF AWARDS CBO
Siff Awards CBO was formed on25th July 2023 in Mombasa Kenya. This was after two successful editions of Swahili International Film Festival which it draws inspiration from. In the two annual festivals Mombasa artists were not well represented. Their artistic projects could not compete as equals with other projects worldwide. This is the background in which concerned artists from Mombasa came together and decided to form this Community Based Organization. Siff Awards CBO is therefore created to bridge the gap of artistic content in Mombasa and the rest of the world.
